How To Prepare
So you’ve chosen to join the licensed residential treatment program at Wellness Counseling Vida Entera, but you’re not sure what you need to bring with you to rehab. No problem, because we have compiled a list of the most important items to bring, as well as a few items that are not allowed on the premises.
We understand that beginning the long journey to a healthy, sober, and clean life can be nerve-racking. Having to worry about outside issues can make it more difficult, so the caring and compassionate staff at Wellness Counseling Vida Entera tries to eliminate a lot of these burdens.
While basic meals and food are provided for you, along with bedding, it is imperative that you bring along certain items to ensure that you remain comfortable throughout your stay with us.
Clothing
You will want to bring at least seven days’ worth of clothing (Laundry services are available for your use at the facilities).
- Casual and comfortable pajamas/sweats
- Lounge wear
- Appropriate attire (refrain from revealing clothing)
Prescriptions
All prescription medications must be prescribed directly to the patient, unopened, current, and non-narcotic. They will be checked, verified, and counted by intake staff.
Payment Methods
Payment for your stay is typically made ahead of arrival. However, you may need cash for ancillary purchases, so we request that you prepare accordingly.
Hygiene Products
As self-explanatory as this section is, it is never a bad idea to have a checklist. Here are a few items you must remember to bring to the treatment center:
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Body wash
- Feminine hygiene products
- Make-up
- Hair products
- Grooming materials
- Shavers and cream
We always encourage our patients to bring in pictures and mementos of their loved ones. Although it may be hard to be away from everyone, this process is helping provide you with a much better life, and your family will be grateful that you took this time to improve yourself.
*Items cannot contain alcohol as a listed ingredient*
*All food items, vape juice, and candy must be sealed*
